Q. How are payments generally made?
A. Initially, a design fee is required to start the project, which can vary from $3,000 to $6,000, depending on the size of the project. This fee is applied to the deposit of the contract for the project.

Because all materials are custom-designed for each project, a 50% deposit is required. Subsequent payments are made as the project progresses so the client is abreast and in control of payments vs. progress.

Q. What is the warranty for Abbey's workmanship?
A. In nearly every state, Abbey's is required to give a one-year guarantee on all products and services excluding appliances, which have their own manufacturer's warranty schedules.


Q. Why will my project be photographed by Abbey's?
This is done for several reasons. Abbey's wants to have professional documentation of the firm's projects, since each one is custom and never to be repeated.  The client is given one set of photos as a gift.  We often use the photos on our web site as an example of our work we can show to other prospective clients. And, finally, photographs are sometimes used for submissions to publications that feature kitchen, bath and interior design and remodeling projects.
