Q.
What is the warranty for Abbey's workmanship?
A. In nearly every state,
Abbey's is required to give a one-year guarantee on all
products and services excluding appliances, which have
their own manufacturer's warranty schedules.
Q. Why
will my project be photographed by Abbey's?
A. This is done for several
reasons. Abbey's wants to have professional documentation
of the firm's projects, since each one is custom and never
to be repeated. The client is given one set of photos as
a gift. We often use the photos on our web site as an
example of our work we can show to other prospective
clients. And, finally, photographs are sometimes used for
submissions to publications that feature kitchen, bath and
interior design and remodeling projects.
Q. If
my kitchen, bath or interior is selected by a publication
for an article or ad, what is the typical process?
A. A professional
photographer will come to your home, stylize the room
being photographed, take a series of photographs and
submit select photos to various appropriate publications.
Your name, address and contact information will NEVER be
included unless you decide to allow it. Further, you may
decide to allow the writer to interview you for an article
or to add quotes to accompany the photos. Most of Abbey's
clients who have this experience find it to be fun and
something of which they are proud. Typically, they
include a copy of the picture and/or magazine in their
house records for posterity or use it for resale
negotiations or insurance documentation.
