Comfort Zone
Location: New Providence, NJ
Overview
This kitchen was designed as a brand-new extension to the existing house. With the husband a busy Wall Street executive and wife a full-time mother to two children—they knew they needed and wanted a lot of space in this hub of this active household.
Challenges
Filling the space with necessary, highly accessible cabinetry, but not allowing it to appear overpowering.
Notes
Pull-out storage was a key solution; the entertainment area was designed with refrigeration and a secondary sink; one area uses cabinetry made to look like a furniture-styled hutch that ties in well with all of the other cabinets. Created with various fluting, dentil molding and flush toe kick.
